At the end of November, AS INDEXO Banka reached its highest total loan portfolio volume to date – 50.5 million euros, issuing new loans in the amount of 6.3 million euros over the last month. Market transaction statistics show that since August of this year, 70% of all mortgage loans refinanced in Latvia have been refinanced specifically at INDEXO Banka.
At the end of November, the number of INDEXO Banka customers was 47.8 thousand, which is 1.5 thousand more than at the end of October. The volume of deposits at the end of November reached 68 million euros, while customers received 119.2 thousand euros in interest payments over the course of the month.
“We see that INDEXO Banka is gradually becoming an important player in the Latvian lending market. At the beginning of the year, the INDEXO Banka loan portfolio amounted to only one million euros, by the end of May it had reached 10 million, and now we are already exceeding the 50‑million mark. Moreover, we only started offering mortgage loan refinancing in May, but over the past few months we have already become the largest mortgage loan refinancer. Meanwhile, in the field of consumer lending, the bank has reached approximately 10% of the monthly market share of newly issued consumer loans, excluding non‑bank lenders. The bank was created precisely with the aim of stimulating lending in Latvia, and we will continue to do so,” says Jānis Mūrnieks, INDEXO Banka Management Board member and Head of Retail Banking.
Meanwhile, the number of clients of the INDEXO Group pension management companies, which include IPAS INDEXO, AS INDEXO Atklātais Pensiju Fonds and IPAS VAIRO, exceeded 158 thousand at the end of November, while the volume of assets under management was more than 1.55 billion euros.
