CenuKlubs.lv will cease operations

After 23 years of operation, the company SIA cenuklubs.lv, which owns stores of the same name, is preparing to cease its activities, Inc was confirmed by the company’s board member Arnis Šķerbergs. More than 150 employees will lose their jobs. The entrepreneur did not wish to provide more detailed information.

In the past, the company had four stores in Riga and one in Talsi. Now, according to information available on the company’s website, it has only two stores left – one in Riga and one in Talsi. The company reduced the number of stores during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Publicly available information indicates that the company is currently carrying out a clearance sale of goods.

Data from the Enterprise Register compiled by Lursoft show that at the end of 2024 the company employed 166 people, closed the year with a turnover of 23.33 million euros and a profit of 26.21 thousand euros.

Over the past four years, the company’s turnover has fluctuated between 23.33 million euros and 29.94 million euros. The range of profit fluctuations during this period has been significantly larger – from 761.10 thousand euros in 2021 to 26.21 thousand euros last year.

SIA cenuklubs.lv was registered in 2002. The company belongs to five private individuals: Liene Šķerberga, Sarmīte Kalniņa, Aldis Rakickis, Arnis Šķerbergs and Mārtiņš Subris.
