Revolut becomes the title partner of the Audi F1 team

The Formula 1 Audi team and the global financial technology leader, the UK online bank Revolut, registered in Lithuania and serving more than 60 million customers worldwide, have signed a cooperation agreement. Starting from the 2026 F1 season, Revolut will be the title partner of the Audi team.

The partnership brings together two premium brands with a shared goal to challenge current leaders and drive innovation both in motorsport and in the financial world. The joint aim of the partnership is to create new ways for fans to interact with the sport during races, to offer the new generation of motorsport enthusiasts new experiences, and to provide Revolut customers with exclusive offers.

Under the agreement, Revolut Business will be deeply integrated into the team’s financial operations. Meanwhile, by using Revolut services, fans will be able to buy their favorite team’s merchandise much more easily and quickly.

“For the upcoming Audi F1 team and Revolut this is a monumental partnership. We are rapidly approaching the 100 million customer mark and, by offering unforgettable experiences, we will connect them with F1 at a time that is so important for this sport. As Revolut continues to challenge the status quo in the global financial world, Audi F1 is committed to doing the same in sport. With a shared vision, global ambitions and an unwavering drive for progress, our partnership will define in future what is possible in F1,” says Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky.

“In Revolut we have found a true partner that shares our relentless drive for innovation and ever-greater ambitions. This partnership is more than aligned brands; it is a strategic partnership created to challenge the existing order in motorsport. From 2026 onwards, Revolut’s cutting-edge digital solutions will power our core operational areas, while also redefining how fans and communities engage with our team, delivering a seamless and compelling experience both on and off the track,” says future Audi F1 team principal Jonathan Wheatley.

“Audi F1 is entering with unmistakable ambitions: to use this platform as a technologically significant and economically sustainable investment in the future of the Audi brand.

We firmly believe in the success of our project, while at the same time approaching it realistically, focusing on continuous improvement. In Revolut we have found a partner that shares our ambitions and mindset. Formula 1 is a global stage that offers us the opportunity to jointly reach new target groups and create excitement around our products,” says Audi AG CEO and Sauber Motorsport AG Chairman of the Board Gernot Dollner.

With around 820 million fans and 1.6 billion television viewers in 2024, Formula 1 is the most popular racing series in the world.

The 2026 season will be the first time that an Audi team competes in F1 with its own works team and a hybrid drive system developed in Germany. The upcoming team is based in two locations – the specially established Audi Formula Racing GmbH develops the power unit in Neuburg an der Donau. Hinwil in Switzerland will be the base for race car development as well as race planning and operations. In addition, the UK technology center in Bicester provides a foothold in the heart of “Motorsport Valley”, offering direct access to top F1 talent and key strategic partners.
